Our Church School meets on Sunday mornings during the school year (September through June). We are currently offering classes for children ages 5 through grade 6. Our registration and start up dates will be posted in August.
Our confirmation program is offered for students in 9th and 10th grades. Participants explore the Bible, the history of the church, the role of worship and sacraments, and their own spirituality.
Vacation Bible School is offered each year in June. This year, we will be making the trek to Mt. Everest, where we can Conquer Challenges with God’s Mighty Power! Our time together begins with dinner, served to both participants and their parents. To register, please print out the Everest Registration Form
Christ the King offers several different programs for adults. Throughout the year, a variety of short courses are presented focusing on different topics including Bible studies, spiritual practices, personal growth, information for newcomers, and preparation for confirmation.
Two groups meet on a regular basis throughout the year; for additional information about meeting times, please check our events schedule.
The Esther-Macrina Chapter of the Daughters of the King (DOK) was formed in 2000. We meet monthly to study books and we provide various kinds of support to a variety of projects within and outside our church. Examples include financial support of a Haitian child through the Colorado Haiti Project, money for books at Peck Elementary located across the street from our building, and packing food for the Arvada Food Bank and our Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot.
Our Men’s Breakfast and Bible Study began in 2013 and meets once a month. Participants share the leadership of this group, which has been focusing on the Gospel of Mark this year.
