Our church school children (ages 4 – 8) begin with us in worship on Sunday mornings at 9:45 during the school year. Before we begin the readings, the children and their teacher come to the front of the church for “A Word to Grow On” from the priest. Then, they leave for their class, returning for communion with their families.
Each month, our boys and girls (ages 9 and above) meet separately from 11:15 – 12:00 noon. Then, they all meet together one Friday evening each month, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. (dinner is included). Please check the calendar on the last page of the newsletter for dates each month.
Our confirmation program is offered for students in 9th and 10th grades. Participants explore the Bible, the history of the church, the role of worship and sacraments, and their own spirituality.
Vacation Bible School is offered each year in June. More information will be available in May.

Examples include financial support of a Haitian child through the Colorado Haiti Project, money for books at Peck Elementary located across the street from our building, and packing food for the Arvada Food Bank and our Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot.
Our Men’s Breakfast and Bible Study began in 2013 and meets once a month. Participants share the leadership of this group, which has been focusing on the Gospel of Luke this year. for the next date.
